Come Pray to Nature: Reflections of Doyni-Polo in the Land of Eastern Himalayas

There’s something incredibly potent, powerful, and cleansing about getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The air smells sweeter, the sun burns brighter, the colours seem more vivid, and time almost seems to stand still.
It is all about eternally veiling, unveiling and then revealing himself in nature; providing harmony and balance to the universe – Doyni Polo

Meet the Guardians of Nature: The Local Communities

Our local communities in the neighbourhood are spinning yarns and weaving livelihoods by growing together with Mother Nature. Live a day with the Nyishis, Garos and the Mishing communities and learn and experience their colours, stories they inherited from their ancestors and how they are taking it forward each day to preserve and conserve our culture and nature.

DAY 3

Bonding with Earth: Learning & Practicing about Traditional Crops

Doyni-polo inspires us to let our souls stay close to nature and attain closeness with Earth. Bond with Earth by learning innovative and conventional farming practices from our local guardians of nature. And the best way to learn and have a hands-on experience on traditional crops and nurturing indigenous lands is to learn from indigenous people in the grassroots.
