Immigration Requirements

To enter India all visitors need a passport with a minimum of 6 months validity.

Everyone except nationals of Bhutan, Maldives and Nepal requires a visa to visit India.

Foreigners should apply for an Indian visa at the Indian Embassy in their country of residence before departure. It is advisable to check the visa processing time well in advance of your trip as this may vary from place to place.

At the current time visas on arrival for single entry with a maximum validity of 30 days are available for citizens of Finland, Japan, Luxembourg, New Zealand and Singapore. They can be granted at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata airports only. We recommend, however, that you double check the validity of this information before you travel in case the regulations change.

Citizens of the aforementioned 5 countries can also procure visas from the Indian Embassy in their country of residence before departure.

To visit Arunachal Pradesh Indian nationals require an Inner Line Permit which, given sufficient notice, our staff at Wild Mahseer can obtain. Foreigners, however, need a Restricted Area Permit and it is best to apply for this with your Indian visa in your country of residence before departure.
